Nothing is more exciting than touring the coast of Fort Myers Beach, Florida aboard a high-powered speed boat! Sea Racer Tours offers all the benefits of other boat tours, but with the added excitement of speed. Built by the aptly named Ocean Rockets, this 70-foot fiberglass and aluminum boat has an impressive 2300 horsepower provided by twin turbocharged CAT diesel engines. It seats up to 128 passengers and is fully USCG certified.
The powerful engines of the Sea Racer boat generate a large white wake that playful dolphins love to jump and play in, so there is a good chance you’ll see plenty of wildlife too.

Narrated Fort Myers Beach Sea Racer Sightseeing and Nature Tours
Throughout the tour the captain will provide a narrated commentary, so you’ll hear interesting snippets of information about the area around Fort Myers Beach and the birds and marine life that it supports.
As you sail past Fort Myers Fish Market and see the fleet of shrimp boats, you’ll hear about the local fishing industry. Be sure to look up as you pass beneath the Matanzas Pass Bridge. You’ll also see the Coast Guard Station and learn about the official fleet of cutters that are used to patrol the waters around Fort Myers Beach.

As you cruise along the channel between Estero and Bird Island, keep a lookout for dolphins. Once the speed boat is clear of Bowditch Point your thrill ride will really begin! After the boat is out in open water, the captain will cruise at speeds of up to 38 mph.

Keep an eye out for the Fort Myers Beach Pier and the Sanibel Lighthouse. The tour slows down around Sanibel Island which is a popular spot to find more dolphins, pelicans, and seabirds diving for fish.
